A leaking sludge recycle line for a clarifier prompted a project to replace the line along with the pre-emptive replacement of the suction and recycle pipe on a second clarifier. Pipe routing alternatives were developed which led to the decision of using underground HDPE. PE Tech completed the piping, civil, and structural design as well as leading the project and construction management.
